My songs are for checking in, not checking out. I'm a narrative songwriter and work my way through my own trials and triumphs and existential questions through song. These days I'm singing a lot about my late dad - about my relationship with him and the idea of fatherhood and my grieving process - but my stage presence is often surprisingly comedic. I think it provides some helpful contrast, of course life is made of both!
