Bryan Titus, Marc Apostolides and Shawn Taylor serve up songs, stories and photos, from their collective thru-hikes and long-distance hikes on the Appalachian Trail, The Long Trail, The John Muir Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail. With three distinctly different musical styles and perspectives, “Songs from the Trail” is as unique and eclectic as the journeys they explore. This mutli-media “In the Round” session, features Apostolides on piano and vocals, Shawn Taylor on guitar, harmonica, uke, foot percussion and vocals, and Bryan Titus on guitar and vocals, bringing with them collective decades of performing and touring, in addition to the thousands of miles hiked. Most importantly, they relate their trail experiences to the common threads of humanity. It began as an “In the Round” show, as part of “The Sacred Sessions” concert series in Prospect, CT in June 2024. Where it goes from here is as unpredictable as trail life and life itself.
